What does the information in the Shipment History Report mean ?

 

Recipient is the organization who will receive the goods.

 

Procuring Organization is the organization who procured the good. Click to see details on procuring organizations who are data providers to the RHI.

 

PO Number refers to the Purchase Order Number of the procuring organization issued to the supplier.

 

Funding Source refers to the source of funds to procure the goods.The RHI only contains information submitted by procuring organizations who are data providers to the RHI. The RHI reflects all of UNFPA and USAID's contraceptive purchases. For IPPF and MSI, the RHI displays procurings carried out centrally (i.e. not procurings carried out by individual country programs). For all other Funding Sources, the RHInterchange only contains purchases carried out by procuring organizations who are data providers to the RHI .

  • Condoms - Female
  • Condoms – Male 
  • Foam/Jelly Spermicide
  • Implants
  • Injectables
  • IUDs
  • Orals - Combined
  • Orals - Emergency
  • Orals - Progestin Only
  • VFT/Suppository Spermicide
  • Standard Days Method / Cyclebeads

 

Examples of commodities not captured : medical device, medical equipment, maternal health medicine and emergency kits.
 
 
Product refers to the Information provided by the data provider on the products. Information available varies, but frequently includes manufacturer and name of product.
 
 
Quantityunits of measure for all methods are smallest dispensing units:
 
  • Condoms, Standard Days Method CycleBeads, implants, injectables, IUDs are numbers of pieces
  • Orals are numbers of cycles
  • VFTs are numbers of tablets

 

Cost : the value for all data providers is harmonized to represent the total landed cost for the commodity provided (i.e., product unit price, shipping, insurance, any related testing, fees, etc.). All RHInterchange values are in US $.

Date Explanation
PO Due Date The date which was agreed as the shipment date with the supplier.
ETD Estimated Time of Departure (from Port of Origin)
ATD Actual Time of Departure (from Port of Origin)
ETA Estimated Time of Arrival (at Port of Destination)
ATA Actual Time of Arrival (at Port of Destination)
 
 
Not all of this data is available at all stages of the order and shipment process. Shipment Date is completed depending on the availability of dates in the underlying data. 
 
  • When all data is available, the "Shipment Date" reflects the Actual Time of Departure (ATD). 
  • When the ATD is not available, the "Shipment Date" reflects the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD).
  • When neither the Actual Time of Departure (ATD) nor the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) is available, the "Shipment Date" reflects the PO Due Date.

 

Receipt Date : there are various date in the underlying data which relate to deliveries.

Destination Country is the country of final destination. The few shipments for which the final destination is unknown are assigned to the group "Destination Country Unknown," which appears as a "region" in the Geographic Area menu.
 
 
Errors in the data : the RHInterchange does not manipulate the information provided by the data providers. Therefore, errors in data originate in the data providers' systems. Please alert us to data errors by emailing us at rhi-supply@unfpa.org.
